創辦人周木松先生與湯淺敏夫於昭和15年在日本大阪浪速區創業，命名為星光社，專業製造自行車與車架接著劑。是日本首家外銷自行車的公司。
Founder Mr. Chou Mu-Song established “Starlight” in Osaka ,Japan with his friend Mr. Yuasa. Producing complete bicycle and adhesive agent for bike frame. It is the first companyin Japan to export complete bicycle.
パワープロラインの代理、販売開始。
遷移到東區 (現在中央區) 的高麗橋四丁目，由於大戰而 暫時休業。戰後馬上復興，並開始製造牙膏販售，且將 公司改名為”Sunstar”。
Move to Eastern Osaka (Central area now). Temporary stop operation due to World War II. Resume active after the War and start producing tooth paste. Change company name to “Sunstar”.
東区（現中央区）の高麗橋四丁目に移ったが大戦で中断。続いて” サンスター歯み磨き”を始めるによりサンスターに社名を変更。
開始製造自行車用齒盤。
Start bike gear crank production.
自転車用のクランク軸歯車が製造し始まり。
在台灣設立辦事處。首任社長周金波先生。 開始代理JBM零件 (Shimano 為主)在台販售。
Set up liaison office in Taiwan, first president Mr. Chou Jin-Po. Start distributing bicycle parts of JBM Group (including Shimano).
台湾でオフィスを設けて、社長の周金波はJBMパーツ（主にシマ ノ）の販売を代理し始めた。
